DistributionThere are 2 specimens at SERNEC: Great Smoky Mountains NP, ledge/seep just E of Peach Tree Creek, 25 April 2017, Keith Langdon & Dan Pittillo s.n. (GSMNP); and margin of parking lot at Collins Creek Picnic Area, McCormick 2024-128 (NCU). In 2022 Bryan England photographed plants at the Swift Creek floodplain in Wake County; a specimen from this site is now in the NCU collection.

AbundanceVery rare, but apparently spreading within Great Smoky Mountains NP.
HabitatRock ledge with seepage; brownwater creek floodplain.
