DistributionEscaped to a few places, mainly to a skate park in Wilmington (New Hanover County).

Native to the Neotropics, possibly as far north as FL and southern TX.
AbundanceVery rare.
HabitatDisturbed areas.
PhenologyFlowers and fruits from May into September.
IdentificationIt has very large white flowers, like several Ipomoea species. See Weakley (2022) for separation features.
Taxonomic CommentsMost often named as Merremia dissecta.
