DistributionA single collection is known: Jackson County, 2 miles W of Cullowhee on Long Branch Road, streambed through lawn, 4 June 1967, Pittillo 2832 (NCU, WCUH). The specimen at NCU was annotated by R.C. Rollins.

Native of Europe; in N.A. scattered states and provinces south to NC, KY, NM, CA.
AbundanceVery rare.
HabitatStreambed through lawn.
PhenologyFlowering and fruiting May-June.
IdentificationThis species is much like Watercress (N. officinale), but the pods are less than 1.5 mm wide and the seeds lie in 1 row (vs. pods 2-3 mm wide and seeds in 2 rows).
Taxonomic CommentsA synonym is N. officinale var. microphyllum.
