Distribution in North Carolina
Distribution: The majority of the records for this species are from Florida. Also occurs elsewhere along the Gulf Coast and north as far as North Carolina, where it was recorded at Spout Springs in the Sandhills (Powell and Brown, 2012)

Habitats and Life History
Habitats: North Carolina records are all from the Fall-line Sandhills. At least some of the records from Florida are also from sandhills habitats, including at the Archbold Biological Station (Powell and Brown, 2012).
