Adult Markings: The ground color of the forewings is mainly brown, with a dusting of white located along the anterior half (Neunzig, 2003). A patch of raised scales is located on the basal side along the antemedian line but both the antemedian and postmedian lines are weakly developed.
Forewing Length: 7.5-10.0 mm (Neunzig, 2003)
Adult Structural Features: Antenna of male have a sinus, black spinelike processes, and a scale tuft located at the base of shaft (Neunzig, 2003).
Adult ID Requirements: Identifiable from good quality photos of unworn specimens.
