Larval Host Plants: Polyphagous, feeding on a wide range of woody and herbaceous plants but apparently not on conifers. Wagner et al. (2001) specifically list maple (Acer), hickory (Carya), New Jersey Tea (Ceanothus americanus), Chrysanthemum, dogwood (Cornus), Gladiolus, mint (Mentha), cherry (Prunus), currant (Ribes), rose (Rosa), meadowsweet (Spiraea), American Basswood (Tilia americana), elm (Ulmus), blueberry (Vaccinium), and Viburnum. We do not have any feeding records in North Carolina. - View |
