Adult Markings: The ground color of the forewings is a soft even gray, crossed by multiple lines (Taylor, 1906). A very minute discal dot is present but most markings are obscure. According to MacDunnough (1949), there is a tendency for the median area to be somewhat darker, followed by a narrower pale band. |

Adult Structural Features: Male antennae are finely ciliate and the palps are short and stout (Taylor, 1906). The abdomen is gray with brown tinge. The dorsal tufts are black and there is no transverse band on 2nd segment. Wings rather short, with a rounded apex.
