Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Our records come primarily from Cove Forests and Northern Hardwood Forests.
Larval Host Plants: In the North, recorded host plants include Gray Birch (Betula populifolia) and Paper Birch (B. papyrifera), but it likely feeds on Yellow Birch (B. alleghaniensis) and Sweet Birch (B. lenta) in the Southern Appalachians (Miller et al., 2018). - View
