Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Our records come from old fields and other open habitats where Dogbane is common.
Larval Host Plants: The larvae feed on dogbane (Apocynum spp.; Wagner et al., 2011). The known host include Spreading Dogbane (A. androsaemifolium) and Hemp Dogbane (A. cannabinum). As of 2024, we have one feeding record for Hemp Dogbane. - View
