Adult ID Requirements: Identifiable from good quality photos of unworn specimens.
Immatures and Development: The larva is pictured but not described in Wagner et al. (2011). But this species is unlikely to breed in North Carolina.
Larvae ID Requirements: Identifiable only through rearing to adulthood.
Distribution in North Carolina
Distribution: We have a single record from the Piedmont, probably a stray for this species which is typically found in Florida and the Gulf states.

Habitats:
Larval Host Plants: Host plants are poorly documented. Wagner et al. (2011) list Live Oak (Quercus virginiana), which is not found in the Piedmont where our only record occurred. - View
