Flight Comments: We have one record from May in the Coastal Plain. The rest of our records come from August in the Mountains.
Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Occupies a wide range of natural and disturbed habitats at least in the far South (Wagner et al., 2011). In North Carolina, records are sparse and come from riparian areas, but possibly without any meaningful connection.
Larval Host Plants: Larvae are polyphagous, feeding on many woody plants, including Rhododendron and willow (Salix) (Wagner et al., 2011). We do not have any feeding records in North Carolina. - View
