Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Most of our records come from pocosins and wetland edges in the Coastal Plain. In the Piedmont and Mountains, our few records appear to come from shorelines or other wet edges.
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on Maleberry (Lyonia ligustrina) (Wagner et al., 2011). There is also a BugGuide record (Karen Chiasson) of a larva on Titi (Cyrilla racemiflora). We do not have any feeding records in North Carolina. - View
