Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Our records come mainly from fairly open habitats -- including semi-rural residential areas.
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on Dock (Rumex) (Robinson et al., 2010, as Mesapamea passer). The most widespread species of Rumex in North Carolina are introduced species. In the Mountains, the only recorded native species is Rumex altissimus. - View
