Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Our records come from marshy beaver and depression ponds, lakeshores, mountain bogs, and other open wetlands that support cattails.
Larval Host Plants: Larvae reportedly feed on cattails, including Broadleaf Cattail (Typha latifolia) and Narrowleaf Cattail (T. angustifolia) (Eiseman, 2022). - View
