Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Most of our records come from floodplain habitats, with some also coming from mesic slopes.
Larval Host Plants: Larvae have been reared on tree algae (T. McCabe, cited by Wagner et al., 2011). There is a BugGuide record (George Smiley, 2020) of a larva feeding off of algae on the trunk of a hickory in Texas. - View
