Adult Markings: The Family Henicopidae is distinguished from other lithobiomorphs by the lack of spurs on the legs. The distal end of the tibia is extended into a spinous process. Zygethobius lacks a spiracle on the first leg-bearing segment, and has a pair of large ocelli. Zygethobius pontis is the only eastern species.
