Technical Description, Adults/Nymphs:
Hubbell (1929, 1936)
Comments:
A large, brownish Camel Cricket. The dorsal surface is reddish to yellowish brown, with brownish tranverse bands at the anterior and posterior ends of the pronotum and a longitudinal brown band extending from the anterior band partway down the median of the pronotum, usually divided by an indistinct, pale, median hairline; the posterior end of this median band is bordered by an arc of pale yellowish spots. The reniform area of the pronotum is also yellowish, as are a number of other spots on the sides of the pronotum. The abdominal segments have rows of alternating light and dark longitudinal spots. Legs are yellowish-brown (Hubbell, 1936).
