Comments: The general color is yellowish brown to dark reddish brown, usually with a dusting of dark speckles producing a pepper and salt appearance (Blatchely, 1920; Rehn and Hebard, 1916b). Although the lateral lobes of the pronotum may be darker than the ground color, they do not have the shining blackish coloration found in pachymerus.
Total Length [body plus wings; excludes ovipositor]: Average body length: 25.3 mm, NC females (n=3) (Rehn and Hebard, 1916b)
Structural Features: Length of pronotum: 10.3, NC females. Length of hind femur: 24.3, NC females (Rehn and Hebard, 1916b).
