Structural Features: The hind femurs are relatively short. The ovipositor is also short and distinctively up-curved. Both the dorsal and ventral sides at the tip are narrowed and the opening is consequently centrally located (Blatchley, 1920). The tips of the tegmina in the males are rounded rather than slightly produced, as in pachymerus.
