Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Most of our records come from upland habitats.
Diet: Larvae feed on decaying hardwoods and pines (Yanega, 1996). Lingafelter (2007) specifically lists g Poplar, Hickory, Willow, Maple, Tuliptree, and Birch. Adults visit flowers of various species.
Observation Methods: Comes to blacklights but adults are also active diurnally and can be found on flowers.
