Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Our records come mainly from the Mountains but include sites at lower elevations than where Spruce occurs. The habitats may primarily represent cove forests, with Hemlocks and White Pines both possible hosts.
Diet: Larvae feed on Spruce and possibly Pines (Yanega, 1996; Lingafelter, 2007)
