Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Fields, woodlands, and other mostly open habitats (Wagner et al., 2011).
Larval Host Plants: Larvae are polyphagous, feeding on many species of forbs and also grasses. Wagner et al. (2011) specifically list thoroughwort (Eupatorium), jewelweed (Impatiens), beebalm (Monarda), Sensitive Fern (Onoclea sensibilis), blackberry (Rubus), dock (Rumex), goldenrod (Solidago), and dandelion (Taraxacum). - View
