| Larval Host Plants: Larvae are highly polyphagous, feeding on a wide range of graminoids and forbs (and possibly some trees), including many species of agricultural importance. Wagner et al. (2011) specifically list strawberry (Fragaria), Garden Lettuce (Lactuca sativa), Common Flax (Linum usitatissimum), Alfalfa (Medicago sativa), Cultivated Tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum), Garden Pea (Pisum sativum), blackberry (Rubus), dock (Rumex), Cultivated Rye (Secale cereale), Garden Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum), Potato (Solanum tuberosum), clover (Trifolium), Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum), and Corn (Zea mays).
