Identification
Field Guide Descriptions: Online Resources: MPG, BugGuide, iNaturalist, Google, BAMONA, GBIF, BOLD
Adult Markings: The ground color is dark gray, with a heavy speckling of white, giving it a frosted appearance. The antemedian and postmedian are both pale. The antemedian runs straight (sometimes slightly undulate) across the wing from the costa to the inner margin, with the orbicular spot separated from it. The postmedian is similar but smoothly curved. As in the other species in this genus, there is a dark wedge-shaped mark adjacent to the orbicular spot; a small black claviform spot; and a large squarish black spot located between the orbicular and reniform. In this species and Agnorisma bugrai, these spots are all black rather than brown. In this species but not the other two, the subterminal area is black but concolorous with the terminal area. As in the other species, the orbicular and reniform spots are filled with the ground color and are evident only by their broken white outlines, which are sometimes obsolete, particularly in the orbicular.
Forewing Length: 14-16 mm (Lafontaine, 1998)
Adult Structural Features: The wings of this species are narrower than in A. badinodis. The outer margin is also straighter and the apex more rounded. The antennae are pectinate in the males and biserrate in females (Lafontaine, 1998). The reproductive structures of the males are diagnostic.

Adult ID Requirements: Identifiable from good quality photos of unworn specimens.
