Adult Markings: The ground color of the forewings is ochraceous with two longitudinal silver stripes separated by a strip of brown; a smaller spindle-shaped silver patch is also located between the outer silver streak and the costa. The area between the inner silver stripe and the inner margin is pale yellowish with longitudinal fuscous streaks and the lower part of the subterminal space is crossed by dark lines ((Fernald, 1896; Forbes, 1923)
