Habitats and Life History
Habitats:
Larval Host Plants: Larvae reportedly feed on alder (Alnus) and birch (Betula) (Wagner et al., 2001). Heppner (2003) also lists columbine (Aquilegia), elm (Ulmus), honeysuckle (Lonicera), oak (Quercus), poplar (Populus), privet (Ligustrum), and willow (Salix). Which of these host plants is used in North Carolina is unknown. - View
