Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Forests and woodlands (Wagner et al., 2001). We have records from a wide range of hardwood forests, including dry-xeric sand ridges, swamp forests, cove forests, and high elevation forests.
Larval Host Plants: Larvae are polyphagous, feeding on many hardwood trees and shrubs, and has been reported from spruce (Picea) (Wagner et al., 2001); specific hosts include maple (Acer), birch (Betula), ash (Fraxinus), and oak (Quercus). - View
