Habitats and Life History

Habitats: We have records from High Elevation Red Oak Forests, cove forests, and montane riparian forests

Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed primarily on Alder and Birch, with Beech and Mountain Ash also reported (Wagner et al., 2001)
