Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Almost alll of our records come from high elevation forests, i.e., above 4,000'. Only a few come from elevations below that level, at a few sites in the Great Smoky Mountains and the Amphibolites.
Larval Host Plants: Larvae are polyphagous, with reported hosts including alder (Alnus), serviceberry (Amelanchier), birch (Betula), cherry (Prunus), willow (Salix), and mountain-ash (Sorbus) (Wagner et al., 2001). - View
