Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Almost alll of our records come from high elevation forests, i.e., above 4,000'. Only a few come from elevations below that level, at a few sites in the Great Smoky Mountains and the Amphibolites.
Larval Host Plants: Polyphagous, feeding on Mountain Ash, cherries, serviceberries, and probably other members of the Rosaceae (Wagner et al., 2002); also reported from alder, birch, and willow. - View
