Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Our records come almost entirely from hardwood forests, but covering the range from maritime forests to swamps and bottomlands to northern hardwoods at elevationns above 4,000'. The majority come from wet to mesic sites but there are also some from sandridges and dry ridges.
Larval Host Plants: Larvae have been reared on tree algae and probably also feed on lichens (T., McCabe, cited by Wagner et al., 2011) - View
