Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Associated with barrens in the north but becomes more widespread further south (Wagner et al., 2011). Our records come mainly from dry sandridge habitats in the Coastal Plain. We also have one record from a mafic glade in the Piedmont and a couple from dry ridges in the Mountains.
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on oaks (Wagner et al., 2011). - View
