Habitats and Life History
Habitats:
"Frequently found in the drier localities in the eastern Piedmont and is not uncommon in predominantly pine habitats"" (Shelley, 1978). This species was also recorded in bottomland hardwoods along New Hope Creek in Durham County and in mesic forests in the mountains."
