Distribution in North Carolina
Distribution:
This subspecies is known in North Carolina only from a small area in the vicinity of the Kings Mountain-Crowders Mountain cluster of monadnocks located on the North Carolina-South Carolina border (Shelley and Filka, 1978; Filka and Shelley, 1980). This is the northernmost area occupied by this species, whose range extends south into Georgria.
