Calymmaria persica can be easily separated from the other species occurring in the Appalachian Mountains, C. virginica, by the form of the epigynum (Figs. 76, 77), and the many differences in the RTA and embolus (Figs. 73–75). Calymmaria persica is a highly variable species, especially in size, which has led to its separation into several species. There appears to be little variation in genitalia among specimens. |
