Habitats and Life History
Habitats:
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on many species of herbaceous plants including American Yarrow (Achillea gracilis), dogbane (Apocynum), milkweed (Asclepias), asters, toadflax (Linaria), tobacco (Nicotiana), and goldenrod (Solidago) (Wagner et al, 2011). In North Carolina, we have feeding records for Tall Goldenrod (Solidago altissima) and a bentgrass (Agrostis sp.). - View
