Adult Markings: "Easily recognized by the rather abundant, scattered-brownish-red scales on the forewing (Neunzig, 1997). According to Heinrich (1958), the red scaling is heaviest between the middle of the wing and the inner margin, with the costal area most heavily scaled with white. |
