Adult Markings: "The forewing of myersella is mostly white with strongly contrasting dark-brown to black areas" (Neungzig, 1997). L. fiskella is similar "but the forewings are generally darker with the fuscous or black more widespread and not contrasting as much with the paler areas of the wing."
Adult Structural Features: The labial palpus is oblique to upturned in this genus (Neunzig, 1997).
