Adult Markings: Similar but typically not as dark as G. sheppardi (Landry, 1989). Identifiable from photos if fresh(D. Lott, pers. comm. to JBS).
Adult Structural Features: The abdomen of females is usually upturned, compared to the usually downturned condition in sheppardi (Landry, 1989)
Adult ID Requirements: Identifiable from photos showing hindwings, abdomen, or other specialized views [e.g., frons, palps, antennae, undersides].
