Adult Markings: Similar but typically not as dark as G. sheppardi (Landry, 1989). Identifiable from photos if fresh (D. Lott, pers. comm. to JBS).
Adult Structural Features: The abdomen of females is usually upturned, compared to the usually downturned condition in sheppardi (Landry, 1989)

Habitats and Life History
Habitats:
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on grape (Vitis spp.) (Craighead et al., 1950; Schaffner, 1959; Godfrey et al., 1987; Beadle & Leckie, 2018). A larva has been reared from an unknown species of grape in North Carolina. - View
