Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Our very few Piedmont records come from bottomland hardwoods and from a stand of basic-mesic forest. Records from the Mountains come from alluvial forests, cove forests, and Northern Hardwoods at the highest elevations.
Larval Host Plants: Reported hosts include basswood, beech, birch, chestnut, elm, hornbeam, maple, oak, poplar, walnut, and willow (Wagner, 2005; Robinson et al., 2010; Beadle & Leckie, 2012). - View
