Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Our two records come from wet forests, one from a montane riparian forest and one from a non-riverine swamp forest in the Coastal Plain
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed primarily on maples, including Red Maple (Acer rubrum) and Silver Maple (A. saccharinum); other confirmed records come from American Basswood (Tilia americana), crabapple (Malus), and Black Oak (Quercus velutina) (Wagner et al., 2011). - View
