Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Our records all come from wet-to-mesic stands of hardwoods, from northern hardwoods on the summits of our highest mountains to non-riverine wet hardwoods in the Outer Coastal Plain
Larval Host Plants: Larvae are polyphagous on a wide range of hardwood trees, including oaks (Quercus), Red Maple (Acer rubrum), aspen (Populus), Yellow Buckeye (Aesculus flava), apple (Malus), birch (Betula), and cherry (Prunus) (Wagner et al., 2011). - View
