Adult ID Requirements: Identifiable from good quality photos of unworn specimens.
Immatures and Development: Larvae are similar to those of L. hemina, petulca, and other members of this species group; consequently, they are best identified by rearing them to adulthood (Wagner et al., 2011)

Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Woodlands and forests (Wagner et al., 2011).
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on many trees and shrubs. Wagner et al. (2011) specifically list Red Maple (Acer rubrum), Sugar Maple (A. saccharum), hickory (Carya), cherry (Prunus), oak (Quercus), and blueberry (Vaccinium). - View
