Habitats and Life History
Habitats:
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on goldenrod and asters (McCabe, 1991; Wagner, 2005). In North Carolina, larvae have been observed feeding on both goldenrod (Solidago), including Tall Goldenrod (S. altissima) and Gray Goldenrod (S. nemoralis), and asters, including Tall Flat-top Aster (Doellingeria umbellata) and Symphyotrichum species. - View
