Habitats and Life History
Habitats:
Larval Host Plants: The larvae are polyphagous and feed on maple (Acer), cherry (Prunus), holly (Ilex), Magnolia, and bayberry (Morella) (Brown et al. 2008). In North Carolina we have rearing records for larvae on Red Maple (A. rubrum), Swamp Loosestrife (Decodon verticillatus), and Loblolly Bay (Gordonia lasianthus). - View
