Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Based on the host plants used by this species, it probably mainly inhabits dry upland oak-hickory forests.
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on hickories, preferring Mockernut Hickory (Carya tomentosa) but also found on Pignut Hickory (C. glabra) and Sand Hickory (C. pallida) (Prentice, 1966; Neunzig, 1972). - View
