Habitats and Life History
Habitats:
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on the seeds of dodder (Cuscuta spp.). Compact Dodder (C. compacta) and Common Dodder (C. gronovii) have both been documented as hosts in North Carolina (Corrette & Neunzig, 1979). Both of those species inhabit wetlands, including bottomland forests and open, herb-dominated habitats. - View
