Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Peatlands to dry old fields and barrens
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on cedars, including Eastern Red Cedar (Juniperus virginiana), Atlantic White Cedar (Chamaecyparis thyoides), and Northern White Cedar (Thuja occidentalis) (Wagner et al., 2001). In North Carolina, larvae have been recorded feeding on Eastern Red Cedar. - View
