Adult Structural Features: Male antennae ciliate, with cilia in fascicles arising from two pairs of small bulges (Forbes,1948). Fovea with part above the fold well-developed.
Adult ID Requirements: Identifiable from photos showing hindwings, abdomen, or other specialized views [e.g., frons, palps, antennae, undersides].

Larval Host Plants: Larvae are broadly polyphagous on woody plants, including conifers as well as hardwoods (Wagner, 2005). In North Carolina, it has been observed feeding on Yaupon Holly and Boxelder. - View
